GMF is Fast Approaching!

Only 2 weeks left before our big show at The Glenn Miller Festival in Clarinda, Iowa! We have been working hard preparing new members and new material. A lot has been happening behind the scenes. We now have Twitter and Instagram accounts, which we have linked on our site. These accounts, as well as our website, still have a lot of building to endure, but we’re getting there. After GMF, we will resume recording our album and we’re hoping to have a DVD available soon (more details to come). Hopefully, we will have more frequent News & Updates in the near future. Until then, we are all excited for GMF and hope to see you there! Stay tuned….

Marcibel is ready for performance day at the 43rd Annual Glenn Miller Festival!

Marcibel met several Glenn Miller fans and performers at the festival! Here she is with Tom Daugherty, director of The Tom Daugherty Orchestra, as well as The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society Big Band which performs every year after musicians from across the U.S. (and sometimes globe) meet a few hours for 1 rehearsal the day before their show!

Marcibel and Aldus with Marvin Negley, president of The Glenn Miller Birthplace Society and Hideomi Aoki, Japanese contributor who comes each year with whatever group comes from Japan. This year (and most years) The Tamana High School Girls Band….they were all quite enamored of Marcibel :P
